When doing bachelor’s degree in the University of Lapland I was involved in a project where something new had to be created for a gun cabinet produced by a Finnish - Swedish company, Steel House Corrotech Oy. I invented an idea of a rotating gun rack that I introduced to the company. They liked it and chose it from the group of 20 ideas for further development.

 

I developed the functionality and technical aspects to the gun rack. Based on those we built a working prototype of the product.

 

The product has been in production since then. Stories of the product have been published both in newspapers and sportsmen's magazines in Finland and Sweden. The product has also been in the International Sportsmen’s Fair in Finland.

 

Other members of the project team were Jenni Mattila, Jenni Marttila, Tapani Kallio, Lasse Råberg, Samuli Lohi, Mikko Pelkonen and Marianne Ojala.
